Black Moon Lilith is the apogee of the Moon, and connects to an inner power. In mythology, Lilith was the first wife of Adam, refused to submit, and was kicked out of Eden. Because, you know, Adam was an insecure dumbass! haha
So how does Lilith impact you based on the Zodiac sign your natal Lilith falls in? The following are excerpts from the Soul Astrology Masterclass, which covers Black Moon Lilith in the natal chart and in transit:

Embracing your Lilith means shedding those issues and using intimacy to help you transform for the better. You can face the darker emotions of yourself and of others and cut through the dark side to find what is hidden underneath. You may have a strong purpose but you need to develop your Lilith first to find it. Don’t accept the superficial and strengthen your will.
Black Moon Lilith in Sagittarius can show that when you don’t play up your Lilith well, you can hold yourself back, feeling that taking any chances will only bring negativity into your life, or that you’ll be judged by others, or even yourself. There is a big wide world of experiences out there waiting for you, and when you embrace your Lilith, you can go out into that world and allow yourself to have new experiences, to explore with curiosity, to meet new people who open your mind, to see other ways of living that make you think. Take a chance on yourself and on the world. Open yourself to experiences. Focus on a more pure spiritual connection within yourself.
Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn can show that when you don’t play up your Lilith well, you may struggle with growing up, maturity, responsibility, or achievement, going too far in one direction or the other, or feeling a lack of direction. When you embrace your Lilith, you can figure out exactly how to get what you want so you know the right path to take, and you can follow through with whatever you say and whatever promises you make. Be responsible. You can be your own rock, and help others with their responsibilities as well.
Black Moon Lilith in Aquarius can show that when you don’t play up your Lilith well, you may lack the independence you want, try to make yourself get lost in a crowd, or can be seen as Lilith in groups, ostracized or judged. You need to allow yourself to be an individual so you can embrace your Lilith. You can understand how what passes now links to what is to come, and you can prepare yourself, others, the world. Embrace what makes you unique and allow yourself to be independent and original.
Black Moon Lilith in Pisces can show that when you don’t play up your Lilith well, you may reject connecting to something beyond, forcing yourself to be more realistic and stuck in the mundane world. You may deny yourself of your deepest desires, holding yourself back, but you’re capable of tapping into a part of yourself and the Universe that is unseen and unheard. Opening yourself up to this helps you embrace your Lilith. Open yourself up to the Universe and let yourself embrace your spiritual powers.

Houses Ruled by Black Moon Lilith
I've been focusing on Ceres in a variety of ways to get you covered, and now we're going to focus on Ceres Returns. How does this impact you?
Returns in Astrology
A return occurs when a planet or body returns to the exact location it was at in the Zodiac when you were born. This is often a time of heightened energy and possible major developments for the planet or body.
You can create a return chart, which is a chart for the exact moment of the return, and this can provide extra information about the return. The return chart can be in effect until the next time the planet or body returns.
Ceres in Astrology
Ceres is a dwarf planet, like Pluto, and is the planet of nourishment. In your natal chart, Ceres shows how you get and give support, and deal with resources and finances. In transit, Ceres impacts support and nourishment at the moment.
About Ceres Returns:
You experience a Ceres Return when transit (moving) Ceres returns to the exact location it was at when you were born (the location in your natal chart). This can have a direct impact on nourishment and resources in your life.
When you have your Ceres Return, this may bring developments with support, money, or resources. You may need to give support to someone in a big way, or ask for support in a big way. You may have a big opportunity for a new resource, or have to use an existing resource in some way, or lose a resource you have. You may have financial opportunities, make important financial decisions, or experience financial changes.
This is often seen through the sign your Ceres is in and the house your natal Ceres resides. This is where you can get the biggest focus. The return chart can show potential developments, if it'll be a beneficial or challenging time, depending on what's happening in the return chart.
Your Ceres Return will occur roughly every 4 1/2 years, so the return chart will last that long.
Sometimes you may experience 3 returns if transit Ceres retrogrades over your natal Ceres position. The final return is usually the one that sticks, however if you have your natal Ceres retrograde, the one that occurs during the retrograde may feel stronger for you. You'll want to create return charts for all 3 and follow them for a little while to see which rings true for you.
Your Ceres Return can trigger energy that is present in your natal chart with your natal Ceres. If your natal Ceres is conjunct natal Pluto, for instance, you may be prompted to make a major transformation of some sort, or have to deal with other people's money (taxes, debts, loans, inheritances, joint finances, etc.). If your natal Ceres is square natal Saturn, you may need to address issues of lack, or some Saturn lessons. If your natal Ceres is anaretic, you may experience massive energy fueling you to take big action with support, resources, or finances.
If your natal Ceres is intercepted, this can make the energy stronger for you so you can become more aware consciously of your Ceres (interceptions tend to operate subconsciously and are cut off energy). These are just some examples, but the condition and nature of your natal Ceres can give an idea of what pops up.
The best way to use your Ceres Return is to focus on using your Ceres in a positive, healthy, productive way. Look for issues with your natal Ceres, and think about how you can address them. Look for positives with your natal Ceres, and think about how you can make the most of them.
Work on being supportive of others in a healthy way, and work on making sure you're getting support too. Look around at areas of your life that need some grounding energy, and work on that.
With Ceres connecting to money, it can also be a good idea to make some plans around your Ceres Return to tackle money matters. Get something under control financially, make investments, or gather financial information. Work on financial opportunities, and try to set yourself up well.
Right at the return, you might want to plan for a short break to relax, indulge, and maybe binge some chocolate!

The first house in astrology is a house that is full of energy and excitement. It's the very first house, the very beginning of our houses, and where it all starts for you.
First House in Astrology & Your Natal Chart
Most astrology charts have 12 houses, and each rule different parts of life. Your natal chart is a snapshot of the locations of the planets, other bodies, and 12 houses in the Zodiac at the moment you're born and from the location you're born at. Your natal houses each rule different parts of your life and personality.
The first house is naturally ruled by Mars, ruler of energy and drive. Mars is the fiery planet, and needs constant movement forward.
At-a-Glance First House Keywords:
First House in Astrology: New Beginnings
The first house is the very first house out of the 12 houses, so it relates to new beginnings. This is the house where new ventures, new projects, and new journeys begin. There can be excitement for it, and triggers and catalysts can be strong.
First House in Astrology: Outer Self
The first house is part of the triad along with your Sun and Moon, and this trio are the basis for you, who you are, and your life. The Sun is your true self, the Moon is your emotional self, and the first house is your outer self.
This is how you come across when you meet people. We all wear masks when we're out with others and strangers, and that mask is your first house.
This can be shown via the sign your first house is in, but also via planets located in your first house.
First House in Astrology: Energy
The first house is a house full of energy and enthusiasm. It's the first house, so it's brand new, full of zest for life, and ready to go. This is not a patient house, it's one that wants action, and now!
First House in Astrology: Initiative
The first house can show taking initiative for what you want for yourself. It's less focused on others and more about you, and your own desires.
You can take the energy and enthusiasm you have and use that to make things happen. You don't need to wait for others, or for permission. On the downside, this can mean impatience is an issue.
First House in Astrology: Attention
Since the first house connects to your outer self and how you come across, it also can be a place that gets a lot of external attention. This is attention you can get for what you put out there yourself, and you can be comfortable with the attention you get.
First House in Astrology: Self-Focus
The first house is focused on you, and not so much about others. Since this is a basic part of who you are in astrology, it can be an area where you're giving yourself attention, focusing on your own wants and needs.
Your relationship with yourself can be found here as well, and how you connect with yourself, or can in a healthy way.
First House in Astrology: Gut Instincts
The twelfth house rules intuition, the fourth house rules emotional instincts, but the first house connects with gut instincts, the very first thing you feel. You can jump to act based on these instincts.
Whether or not they're actually honed can depend on the condition of your first house as well as your natal Mars.
Where Your First House Energy is Found
For everyone, look to the Zodiac sign your first house falls in. The areas of life ruled by that sign are where you have gut instincts, energy, focus on yourself, and take initiative for new beginnings. Also look to the natural planetary ruler of your first house (the natural planetary ruler of the Zodiac sign your first house falls in) as this can also connect to the 1st house energy (and is also usually considered your chart ruler).
If you have any natal planets in your first house, this can make the first house energy a lot stronger for you. That planet can impact how you come across, and you may seem more like that than the sign sometimes.
Transit (moving) planets touring your first house can bring some temporary energy for first house matters. It can be especially strong when it's transit Mars (bringing extra energy and drive), transit Saturn (restricting you so you learn), transit Uranus (causing personal changes), transit Pluto (bringing transformations), or transit Chiron (focusing on healing ego wounds).
Transit planets aspecting your natal 1st house ruler can stimulate first house energy as well, and conjunctions, square, and oppositions by transit Saturn, Uranus, Pluto, or Chiron can be especially challenging and require a lot of focus on yourself.
A Strong First House in Astrology
Some may have a super strong natal first house. This can be the case for you if you have:
- a stellium (3+ planets) in the 1st house
- your Sun, Moon, or Chiron in the 1st house
- your North or South Node in your 1st house
- your 1st house ruler in the 1st house
- your 1st house cusp or ruler anaretic (at 29 degrees)
- retrograde Mercury, Venus, or Mars in the 1st house or ruling the 1st house
When you have a strong 1st house, you can give yourself extra attention, and prioritize your own wants and needs. This can be good, until it develops into selfishness or being an egomaniac. You need to make sure you're considering others.
You can feel extra drawn to new beginnings, and may have little trouble pursuing new ventures. The problem is that without other things in the chart to ground you, you may not see things through to the end, and have a lot started, but nothing finished.
You may be someone who gets a lot of attention for your personality, looks, or some other way in which you come across. You may need to work more on having a rounded personality and life, and not focusing solely on how you come across.

July 2022 comes with a full moon in disciplined Capricorn and a new moon in creative Leo. What will they bring for us?
What is a New Moon?
A new moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact same position in the Zodiac (called a conjunction). New moons are related to beginnings, have high energy, and are enthusiastic.
What is a Full Moon?
A full moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact opposite positions in the Zodiac (called an opposition). Full moons are related to endings, culminations, and are emotional energy.
Full Moon in Capricorn: July 13th 2022 (2:38PM ET/11:38AM PT)
Capricorn is the highest part of the Zodiac, so it corresponds to our goals, progress, and success. Full moons are culminations, the results of our work, so a Capricorn full moon means we can see the results of what we've done to make progress with our goals and achieve success. Some may hit new heights, hit their stride, get recognition, and feel you're on the right road. Others may experience setbacks, blocks, and have to change course.
We may have extra responsibilities with this full moon, and we have to work on managing this in a healthy way. It can be easy to take on too much, and then we get overwhelmed and break down. Or, it can be easy to avoid taking responsibilities seriously, and then things fall apart. We need to find that happy middle.
We can focus on the direction we're going in and how we're going to get to where we ultimately want to be. This can be a good time to let go and release things that have been holding us back or stand in the way of our achievement, if possible. If not possible, we can work to find a way around, and to manage as best as we can.
This full moon occurs at 21 degrees 21 minutes Capricorn. The aspects to this full moon are:
Conjunction: 19 degrees 21 minutes - 23 degrees 21 minutes Capricorn
Sextile: 19 degrees 21 minutes - 23 degrees 21 minutes Scorpio or Pisces
Square: 19 degrees 21 minutes - 23 degrees 21 minutes Aries or Libra
Trine: 19 degrees 21 minutes - 23 degrees 21 minutes Taurus or Virgo
Opposition: 19 degrees 21 minutes - 23 degrees 21 minutes Cancer
New Moon in Leo: July 28th 2022 (1:55PM ET/10:55AM PT)
Leo new moons are great times for fun, joy, and heartfelt connections. Leo is a sign that doesn't want to be serious, and this can be a nice break coming out of the Capricorn full moon. We can make time for our hobbies, for our loved ones, and to connect to our hearts. Have fun and make time for fun, because that's important too.
Leo is a creative sign, so we can work on new creative projects and ventures, and we can get attention for the creative work we do. We may infuse creativity into the mundane, and this can help us stay focused, otherwise focus may be completely lacking.
This can be a good time for romance, and those who are single and make more time for playing the field and having fun without being too worried about outcomes, while those in a relationship can bring the spark back.
The new moon is widely trine (positive aspect, 4 signs away) transit (moving) Jupiter in Aries as Jupiter turns retrograde (appears to move backward) on the same day, and is widely conjunct (aligned with) Ceres in Leo. Jupiter retrograde can slow down opportunities and give us a chance to focus on old baggage and karmic sludge that needs to be worked out, so we may use this Leo new moon to do that with issues around love. Any heart blocks can get tackled, and we can have an easier time doing that with the trine to Jupiter.
The conjunction to Ceres can make us more nurturing and supportive, and we can be this way with others and with ourselves. We can take care of what our hearts need, and may be more affectionate, loyal, and generous.
This new moon occurs at 5 degrees 39 minutes Leo. The aspects to this new moon are:
Conjunction: 3 degrees 39 minutes - 7 degrees 39 minutes Leo
Sextile: 3 degrees 39 minutes - 7 degrees 39 minutes Gemini or Libra
Square: 3 degrees 39 minutes - 7 degrees 39 minutes Taurus or Scorpio
Trine: 3 degrees 39 minutes - 7 degrees 39 minutes Aries or Sagittarius
Opposition: 3 degrees 39 minutes - 7 degrees 39 minutes Aquarius
