Abundantia can show where we're experiencing abundant energy at the moment, and whether there are challenges or benefits. What does Abundantia in Cancer have in store for us? Asteroid Abundantia in Cancer 2022 Dates:
Asteroid Abundantia in Cancer 2022 General Impact:
Abundantia in Cancer can bring abundant energy to home and family matters. We may spend more time in the places that are most familiar and feel like home, or with the people we know best and are comfortable with. Some may expand their family during this time, or expand their home (moving to a bigger place or renovating your existing one).
Comfort and familiarity are a big thing for Cancer, so that's what we may focus on having more of. We want to be comfortable, and we want familiarity. We may have greater abundance when we're comfortable and in familiar places with familiar faces, or there may be more opportunities to do or be with or in those people and places. Cancer is the bottom of the Zodiac, so it connects with internal foundations. With Abundantia in Cancer, we may have greater opportunities to improve internal foundations of ourselves, our relationships, or projects and ventures. We can access more abundance in our lives when we feel our foundation is secure. Cancer rules emotions, so there may be an abundance of emotion with Abundantia in Cancer. Whatever we feel, we may feel a lot more of, whether it's joy, or sadness, or anger, or confusion. We may need to work on regulating that! While in Cancer, Abundantia will conjunct, or align with, Black Moon Lilith on June 30th, and this comes with Abundantia conjunct the Sun on June 29th and square (challenging aspect) Jupiter on June 27th. Abundance can be a huge focus thanks to the Sun, and we can be more passionate about it and want to do more thanks to Lilith. But, we may feel stuck in some way, or need to carve out our own way thanks to Jupiter. Abundantia conjuncts Mercury on July 11th, and this can greatly increase mental energy, ideas, and communications, and this may focus on home/family matters, emotions, or foundations. Abundantia sextiles (beneficial aspect) Uranus on July 23rd, and this can help us try different ways of creating abundance. On August 6th, Abundantia is trine (beneficial aspect) Neptune, and is then conjunct Venus on August 7th. Compassion and empathy can be high, and we may want to be more helpful with others. We can care a great deal, and feel the need to give support. The hardest aspect is when Abundantia is opposite Pluto on August 11th. This might bring power struggles that seem out of control, and we can see more anger, rage, and violence. We have to get that under control so we're not doing something we regret later. We need to make sure our emotions aren't getting the better of us. Suggested Reading: Transit Asteroid Abundantia Aspects Intuition can be helpful for managing any of life's challenges. It can steer you in the right direction, at least when it's telling you and you're listening. But what are some astrology transits that can heighten intuition, making it stronger for you to listen to? Astrology Transits in General for Intuition
Full moons are great for intuition, while the water signs of Cancer, Scorpio, and Pisces connect to intuition as well. Put them together, and a full moon in Cancer, Scorpio, or Pisces is excellent for intuition.
Cancer full moons can give us emotional intuition, while Scorpio full moons can give strong intuition, but maybe overwhelming at times if we're not comfortable with its power. Pisces is the natural ruler of intuition of the signs, so Pisces full moons are excellent for intuition overall. New moons in these signs can be helpful for starting to work on your intuition, if you need to. They're just not as strong in general. Full moons that are in aspect to Neptune, the natural ruler of intuition, can also show heightened intuition. Easy aspects (sextiles and trines) can make it easier to manage, while hard aspects (conjunctions, squares, and oppositions) can make it more difficult, yet make the energy stronger. Neptune is currently in Pisces, so that would be full moons in Pisces (conjunct), Virgo (opposite), Gemini and Sagittarius (square), Cancer and Scorpio (trine), and Taurus and Capricorn (sextile). The transit planets in the sign of Pisces can also be times of heightened intuition, and we have one we've been in for a while and will be for a while longer with Neptune at home in Pisces. We're all likely much more focused on connecting to our spiritual and intuitive selves, and can be for a few years longer. These are astrology events that impact all of us, but will likely be stronger if it's impacting you specifically in some way (like in your 1st house, aspecting your 1st house cusp or ruler, or aspecting your natal Sun or Moon). Personal Astrology Transits for Intuition
Now, what are some astrology events that heightened your intuition specifically for you? With Neptune being the planet of intuition, Neptune aspects can heighten intuition, and these include aspects by transit Neptune to your natal chart and by the other transit planets to your natal Neptune.
By transit Neptune to your natal chart, easy aspects (sextiles and trines) are more helpful and beneficial, and while hard aspects (squares and oppositions) are more challenging and you have to make sure you don't get lost in it, you may actually see a bigger increase in intuition. You can also experience heightened intuition with involvement by the Moon. While Neptune rules intuition, it's in a spiritual way, and the Moon governs emotional intuition as the Moon rules your emotions. Emotional intuition can be super helpful, and you can see heightened emotional intuition with the transit (moving) Moon in your 1st, 4th, 8th, or 12th houses (lasts 2-3 days each), in your Moon sign, or conjunct (aligned with) your natal Neptune. Conjunctions, sextiles, and trines by the transit Sun, Venus, Ceres, Jupiter, Neptune, and Chiron to your natal Moon can also heighten intuition. This happens when your progressed Sun and progressed Moon conjunct (align). On average, you experience 2 or 3 in your life, so it's not very often. Why is it important? What is the progressed chart?
The progressed chart adds one day to your date of birth for every year of your age, creating a new chart reflecting your maturation and growth with age. It's used in predictive analysis, and events in the progressed chart can trigger important periods in your life. Progressed new moons (and full moons) are one of those periods.
About Progressed New Moons:
A new moon is enthusiastic, high energy, and focused on the new. Under a regular new moon every month, we get this excitable energy ripe for a new beginning.
When you experience this in your progressed chart, the energy is even stronger, and it's just for you. The energy lasts a lot longer too, with regular new moons only lasting about 2 weeks, and progressed new moons lasting for about 2-3 years. This gives you a prolonged period for starting not just something new temporarily, but for a long time to come. This can be a whole new journey for your life. It's strongest around when it's exact, but you can start feeling the energy leading up to that, and well after it's exact. It's a great time for a new beginning, a new journey in your life, and often signals a new chapter of some sort. Of what exactly is usually ruled by the sign the progressed new moon occurs in, the natal or progressed house it occurs in, or natal or progressed planets that aspect the new moon (the closer they are, the stronger they can be, though conjunctions tend to dominate). They tend to be even stronger when they occur in your Sun or Moon sign (natal or progressed), or in the natal or progressed 1st house (ruling the self), or aspecting the natal or progressed angles (which rules the pillars of life and activate high energy). This can trigger major developments for you, no matter what. It can also bring the spotlight to you in some way. It may be more challenging if the progressed new moon occurs at 29 degrees, the anaretic degree. This is super high energy, so it can be full of energy to start anew in some way, and there may be a huge development, something truly epic, where something big begins. The challenge is trying to control this, and it may feel bigger than you can handle at times, so you have to work on making sure you're not overdoing anything. It may also be challenging if it's intercepted in your natal or progressed chart. Intercepted means the sign it occurs in isn't on any house cusp, and is contained in the house that falls in the previous sign. This contains the energy of the progressed new moon, so it may be quieter for you. There may be some subconscious blocks that pop up, needing to be worked on so you don't miss out on the energy. And, also note if the progressed new moon occurs in the same sign as your progressed North or South Node. This means it's a progressed solar eclipse! You can take that new beginning energy and times it by a zillion. This is huge energy for a big new journey, a fresh shot at life, and you can have incredible energy and enthusiasm, and may get some attention.
