Hidden things can be anything that's kept from others, usually referring to secrets. If you have planets in this house, the energy ruled by them tends to be hidden, and if you have a luminary or personal planet here (Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars), you tend to feel 'misunderstood.' When you feel comfortable, you’re someone who can take charge of a situation or problem. You can be an energetic person, but only behind closed doors, and you’re surprisingly assertive, and subconsciously sure of yourself. 12th House in Taurus You crave security in your life far more than you let on, and you come across as less stable than you actually are. When you feel comfortable, you’re sensual, indulgent, and calm, a grounding energy for those around you, and hard-working. 12th House in Gemini You have an active mind, but only when you’re by yourself. When comfortable, you come up with great ideas, have quick wit, and are more logical than you come across as. You let your emotions cloud your judgment at times, and need to be use more reason. 12th House in Cancer You keep your emotions to yourself, not wanting anyone to see just how emotional you are. You come across as fun and free, but when comfortable, you can show how sensitive you are. You’re uncomfortable in social situations, with strangers, and make seem awkward or antisocial. This can be completely different from how you act in private though, especially if you’re a fire or air sign, and with people you’re close to, you can bounce off of the walls. You have to work hard to figure out your own identity so you don’t absorb the identity other people put on you. You need time alone away from people periodically so you can recharge, but you have to make sure you don’t completely cut yourself off from people. Try to connect with others through your compassion, and try to do good for others. Natal Moon in the 12th House The Twelfth House often seems to eat up the planets that are housed within it; it’s not that you don’t have the energy of that planet, it just appears that way on the outside. Twelfth House Moons often come across as people who aren’t very emotional and have a hard time expressing themselves. You can seem emotionally shy and don’t give in the outward displays of emotion. Behind closed doors, with people you’re comfortable with or when you’re alone, you may seem completely different (especially if you have a fire or water Moon). That’s when you let your guard down, though for many with this placement, you may only be able to do this when you’re alone, and may feel quite misunderstood as a result. Most are very insecure, and need to surround themselves with a lot of supportive people, otherwise they may easily become victims. With the transit Sun in your 12th house, your focus is on your subconscious and letting go. Old issues can come up that you need to face and move on from. This is a good time to get rid of baggage, and clear your life physically, mentally, emotionally, or spiritually. There’s always something that you can get rid of. You may feel drained, especially around people, and need to spend more time alone to recharge. You don’t want to be in the spotlight, and prefer to stay in the background and not get any attention from people. You may seem more sensitive and emotional, require more rest, and are more intuitive. You’re also more compassionate, and you want to help people who can’t help themselves. Transit Moon in the 12th House Your emotions are more hidden, though you may be more emotional than normal. You don’t outwardly express them, keeping them to yourself, preferring peace and quiet to emotional drama. Just relaxing and being at one with yourself is good now, and taking a break from the world can help rejuvenate you. This is the best time to let go of what your life requires of you and just letting yourself be for a day or two. You can feel more spiritual now, connected with the metaphysical. Your dreams can seem more important, and there may be messages for you within them. Creativity can be heightened, so this can be a good period for those in artistic fields. Don’t let yourself become overly emotional at this time, or you could feel more down than usual: depressed, lonely, guilty, worthless, or directionless. F or a positive way to deal with this placement, you can look back at the Moon’s tour through the previous houses, figure out what you did that was right and what was a mistake, and use that knowledge to make better decisions for the next round of the Moon through the twelve houses. Transit Mercury in the 12th House With transit Mercury in your 12th house, any ideas you come up with or thoughts you have, you keep to yourself. You don’t want to share what you know with anyone, afraid of being judged, punished, or misunderstood. You come up with your best ideas when you’re alone, and do your best research on your own. You’re reluctant to share any of your opinions, even with loved ones, and are more likely to want to listen to what they have to say instead of speaking for yourself. It’s a good time to think about old issues and come up with a plan to eliminate mental baggage that’s built up over time. Clear your mind so you can start fresh when this transit is over. Transit Venus in the 12th House When transit Venus is in the 12th house, you don’t feel like being affectionate in public, and you may not come across as being all that interested in anyone. If you meet someone now, you’re more likely to keep your interest in them to yourself, feeling more shy than usual in love matters. A relationship begun in secret is more likely to happen under this influence. You could feel a karmic attraction to someone, or be attracted to someone who you feel needs your help in some way. You may meet someone at a hospital, or who is a doctor, prison guard, warden, or drug counselor. You find more pleasure in dealing with spiritual matters or the metaphysical, and you can have an easier time letting things go. Transit Mars in the 12th House When transit Mars is in your 12th house, you’re driven to retreat and reflect. Being around other people can be draining to you right now, and you prefer being alone. Working alone is when you have the best energy, and you want to be out of the spotlight and working behind the scenes where no one will notice you. Your dreams become more prominent, and you can have some wild dreams, find yourself daydreaming more, or conversely, have trouble sleeping. Your imagination can surge, and this can be a creative time. Your intuition can surge as well, though you may not be consciously aware of that. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time to rest, replenish, and recover so you’re ready for when transit Mars enters your 1st house and life gets hectic. Transit Jupiter in the 12th House When transit Jupiter is in your 12th house, you can focus on the habits that you’ve taken on over the years and finally let go of them. You can be less self-destructive during this transit, and eliminate some of the baggage that you’ve been carrying around. You’re less afraid to get in touch with your hidden issues and bring them to the surface to deal with them. This can be a great time to start therapy of some sort. You may explore your spirituality and become interested in metaphysical subjects. You could take up meditation or some sort of spiritual practice. Your compassion expands and you try to help others through volunteer work or charity. You’re okay with doing things in the background that may not be noticed right now, and find that you prefer being out of the spotlight because you do your best in private. When you need help, it’s there, and this transit usually protects you during difficult times. Transit Saturn in the 12th House When transit Saturn is in your 12th house, you experience a serious, heavy period of time where you have to clean out your life carefully. You need to let go of baggage and of the things that hold you back. It’s not easy to face your issues, but you have to. The things that you hide from yourself, that you deny are there, are the things that will likely require your attention the most. You can’t run, escape, hide, or deny any longer. Continue to do so, and you’ll face consequences. Fear will grow, and you’ll develop more unhealthy, destructive habits. There’s so much we carry with us that we don’t need over time, and this transit gives us the chance to get rid of that. It’s daunting and it takes time, but it’s rewarding. This isn’t usually a good time to begin anything new, but rather is a time of endings. Be introspective and face your subconscious. This is a good time to start therapy. By the end of this transit, you should have much less weight on your shoulders, and when Saturn moves into your 1st house, you’re ready to hit the ground running. Transit Uranus in the 12th House When transit Uranus is in your 12th house, you take a different approach to your spirituality, and are open to unconventional beliefs. You can let go of old habit patterns and baggage that’s been holding you back, and secrets can be brought to light unexpectedly. You have to learn to let go of your past and destructive habits so you can go forward into the future with less holding you back. You may show your compassion in unusual ways, taking an unconventional approach to charity, and not wanting anyone to know just how much you’re helping them. Transit Neptune in the 12th House When transit Neptune is in your 12th house, Neptune is in the house it rules, so this can be an easier transit. You don’t mind being alone as much, and can enjoy your own company. You have active dreams and can get in touch with your intuitive side. Your spirituality increases, and you see the subtle messages that the Universe puts in your path. Everything is connected, and you begin to understand that now. You can also begin to believe in yourself and in that which you can’t see but know is there. Transit Pluto in the 12th House When transit Pluto is in your 12th house, you can get in touch with old issues and work on them now. It’s a great time to start therapy and work on psychological issues. If you run from these problems, bigger problems will present themselves, so don’t run. It’s not as scary to deal with them as you think it is. You can completely transform yourself and eliminate loads of baggage during this transit if you don’t fight it. |
