Transit (moving) Jupiter is gearing up to exit Aries in a few weeks, and will move into Taurus in mid-May 2023. Jupiter stays in Taurus for the rest of 2023, but before Jupiter enters Taurus, it'll be anaretic for a few days. What does this mean? What is Jupiter in astrology?
Jupiter is the lucky planet, and its base energy is expansion in astrology. It's optimistic, it wants to focus on the good, and it sees the big picture. In the natal chart, natal Jupiter can show where you can expand in your life, where you need space, where you're optimistic, and where you see the big picture.
In transit, transit Jupiter often brings opportunities for new experiences and expansion. Transit Jupiter opens up possibilities in your life, and you can get out there and get excited by what is in front of you now. Since Jupiter is the happy planet, it's very easy to use to your advantage. The only issue is, we can feel so good that we get lazy about it and end up missing out. What is the anaretic degree in astrology?
There are 30 degrees in every Zodiac sign, 360 degrees total (30 x 12). 29 degrees is the last degree of each Zodiac sign, and is called the anaretic degree as it has very high energy.
In the natal chart, the bodies at the anaretic degree have super heightened energy, and this is usually overwhelming and scary so we avoid it (though some go in the opposite direction and play it up too much, to their detriment). In transit, the anaretic degree is crisis energy. This is usually significant and sometimes traumatizing, but with Jupiter, it's not quite so bad (though this one may certainly bring something significant!). Jupiter will be anaretic in Aries May 12th - 16th 2023. Anaretic Jupiter in Aries Impact:
Jupiter is the happy planet, so anaretic Jupiter usually isn't so bad, unlike other planets (like Pluto). Instead, we're hyperfocused on expansion, new experiences, and opportunities, and we can push to make things happen as quickly as possible before we miss out.
In Aries, this may mean we're extra impulsive and impatient, and don't think things through before we take action. This can put us in a bind, and we really need to make sure we're controlling ourselves and have clean motivations. This period does come with Mercury retrograde, appearing to move backward in the sign of Taurus. Mercury retrograde ends in the middle of anaretic Jupiter in Aries on May 14th 2023, but we can still feel it for a little while longer. This adds to frustrations and wanting to be impulsive, but we need to be smart with whatever we do. If we haven't done our homework, then jumping to action may be the wrong thing to do, and it's better if we're informed first. The super wild thing with this period is it will trigger the April 20th Aries solar eclipse, which occurred at 29 degrees Aries, the anaretic degree in Aries. With transit Jupiter crossing over this significant position, Jupiter is lighting up that eclipse. Whatever that eclipse is doing for you and has triggered for you may see some developments when Jupiter is anaretic in Aries. I kept saying that the March 21st Aries new moon got us started with this energy, and whatever was begun with that new moon may see culminations, results, or progress during this anaretic period. We may have been stalled with the Mercury retrograde kicking in April, but Jupiter has one last parting gift before exiting Aries and wants to bestow some progress on us. We still have to be smart and avoid being impulsive or letting frustrations get the better of us, but if we can do that, we can see this period as being really significant for helpful developments. This is especially important for anyone who has a natal planet, angle, or other body at the anaretic degree. It doesn't matter the Zodiac sign; I find with the anaretic degree, the aspect doesn't matter, just being at that degree is enough. If that's you, you'll want to give extra focus to whatever that point rules in your natal chart and try to expand, explore, and experience. For everyone, look to the house in your natal chart 29 degrees Aries falls. The areas of life ruled by that house can be where expansion and opportunity is focused. Good luck! How does this impact us? About Juno in Astrology
Juno is an asteroid in astrology, and there are tens of thousands of asteroids, and each connects to something different. Many are simply names, but some like Amor connect to specific energies.
In the case of asteroid Juno, this is the asteroid of commitment. Juno shows how we express commitment and our attitudes around it, and in transit, we can see this via the Zodiac sign Juno is touring, and the natal house it's touring in your natal chart. Impact of Asteroid Juno in Gemini 2023
Juno spent about 1 1/2 months in Taurus, which is grounded and earthy and wants to take time to make commitments, but can be loyal once it does. Gemini, on the other hand, moves much quicker, and once it voices vows of commitment, it sees this as a contract.
Juno in Gemini can get us all thinking about commitment a lot more, discussing it with others, and coming up with ideas for it. We may want to gather information about commitment, partnerships, and alliances, and we can focus on what we think about it all. Juno in Gemini can get us moving quickly into commitment, and we may need to slow it down a little to have a chance to think it through. We can think it through well if we just give ourselves the time to do that. We don't even need a lot, a little will do! Gemini is the ruler of younger people, so we may see more younger people entering into commitments and partnerships, or at least talking about it more. They may be of two minds about it too with Gemini being symbolized by the Twins. Juno tours Zodiac sign Gemini for about 1 1/2 months, from May 2nd to June 22nd 2023. Important Juno in Gemini Aspects:
Juno in Gemini will only conjunct (align with) one of the other planets, and that's the Sun in Gemini on June 20th. They're both nearing the end of Gemini, gearing up to move into watery Cancer.
The Sun shines a light and has a romantic, fun attitude, so linking up with Juno in Gemini can bring attention to commitment in our lives, especially anything we've committed to vocally or in writing (ruled by Gemini). There may be something related to it at the last minute that needs to be addressed before it can be settled and set. Around the same time, on June 18th, Juno will square (challenging aspect) Neptune in Pisces at 27 degrees, so perhaps the extra focus on commitment comes as a result of something Neptunian. We need to make sure we're seeing reality and not letting wishful thinking cloud our judgment. We also need to make sure we're being understanding. Juno in Gemini will trine (beneficial aspect) Pluto in Aquarius right away on May 2nd, and this is as Pluto turns retrograde (appears to move backward) in Aquarius on May 1st. This can help us be serious about commitment early in the transit. Juno will then square Saturn in Pisces on May 12th, and this can cause some challenges in relationships. Some may face the breaking point, and any bad relationships may have some important decisions to make, especially if things haven't been handled well. Juno is also going to oppose another love asteroid, Cupido, who is the asteroid of infatuation and crushes. Cupido is retrograde in Sagittarius for this opposition, which occurs May 13th at 6 degrees. Commitment and infatuation may be at odds with each other, and we may struggle with taking relationships and partnerships seriously, and want to let loose with others. I suspect this will also be a time of outing affairs, so maybe get ahead of that if it's a possibility! Asteroid Juno in Gemini for the Zodiac Signs

How Jupiter in Taurus 2023-2024 Impacts You
Jupiter moves to Taurus, an earth sign that grounds and centers. Jupiter in Taurus gives us the opportunity to do that in our lives, and what we build now can help us feel more grounded. We can become more concerned with stability and security, and we can strive to improve this, especially in areas that have been particularly chaotic lately.
We can work to improve our confidence levels, and want to feel we're in tune with what we value. We can improve self-respect, and find more self-worth. This benefits us in many ways, at the very least making us feel calmer and more in control, and it can help us pursue opportunities we'd normally talk ourselves out of because we didn't feel worthy. Taurus is an abundant sign, so we can focus on bringing more abundant energy into our lives. We may give more attention to areas where we've been experiencing lack, and work to change this so we have more of whatever we need, and don't have to worry about it again for a long time. Taurus is also a ruler of money and resources, so Jupiter in Taurus is fabulous for making more money and expanding access to resources. For some, this may mean embarking on a new professional path, for others, it may mean taking on new positions or pushing for your own promotions and raises; for some, it may mean starting up a side gig that can become profitable quickly; and for others, it may mean being smarter with your spending and investments. On a macro level, there can be more attention paid to financial institutions, and there may be changes in some way that lead to expansion in some way. And, since Taurus is such an earthy sign, we may be much more concerned with the Earth during this tour. Maybe now we finally make some progress with climate change! On a personal level, you can experience any or all of this in the areas of life ruled by the house(s) Jupiter in Taurus tours in your natal chart. How Jupiter in Taurus Differs From Jupiter in Aries
Taurus is quite different from Aries, as Aries is a strong fire and cardinal sign, which means it's always go-go-go. Meanwhile Taurus is the most grounded of the signs since it's both an earth sign and a fixed sign, and is very slow and steady.
Jupiter in Aries has been full of activity (and that'll last to the very end!). Taurus, on the other hand, wants us to slow down, take a beat, and reconnect with the moment. We can benefit from slowing down this way. Special Periods During Jupiter in Taurus
Before Jupiter even enters Taurus, Mercury is going to be retrograde, appearing to move backward) for several weeks in Taurus (April 21st to May 14th 2023). This may give us a chance to work through any Taurus challenges we have to clear them out and make room for the opportunities and expansive energy of Jupiter in Taurus.
Try to take advantage of that before Jupiter in Taurus starts. Pay attention to what the Mercury retrograde is doing, and get working on it. If you can go into Jupiter in Taurus with less holding you back and keeping you down, you can soar much further much faster. There will also be a Taurus new moon right after Jupiter enters Taurus on May 19th 2023, and this can help us get focused on the opportunities we want to pursue and what we're excited about. This new moon may usher us into Jupiter in Taurus quickly and with some beneficial developments, and we can set ourselves up for what we're going to expand and explore over the next year of our lives. Uranus will be in Taurus the entire time Jupiter is in Taurus as well, and they conjunct (align) once on April 20th 2024 at 21 degrees Taurus. Jupiter linking up with Uranus is fabulous energy for sudden, unexpected opportunities and great windfalls. Bad luck can turn fast and we can take advantage of the sudden developments. We can benefit when we're being true to ourselves, and willing to take the unconventional route with Uranus. We may be hesitant with this with the Taurus energy initially, but once we take those first steps, we can see how this works out for us and keep going with it. This can play out in the areas of life ruled by the house in your natal chart where 21 degrees Taurus falls. If you have any natal planets or bodies at 21 degrees, whatever they rule may get the strongest impact. Jupiter in Taurus Conjunct the Outer Planets in Your Natal Chart
The kids born in the last few years along with our super elders have Uranus in Taurus. This means Jupiter in Taurus aligns with your Uranus, the planet of rebellion, independence, innovation, and the masses.
If you have small children/babies with Uranus in Taurus, they may start developing very strong personalities that may seem different in some way. For those of you a lot older (hey cool grandparents!), you may decide to make a big change in your life, and can be more willing to step outside of your comfort zone and do something that has a broader impact. Final Notes on Jupiter in Taurus
Jupiter in Taurus seems awesome after the crazy energy of March through May 2023, and we can welcome the slower, steadier energy. Combined with Uranus in Taurus, it's not TOO slow and steady, and does offer some room for change and growth.
Embrace abundance and improve confidence! Suggested Reading: The Transit Jupiter page for general interpretations of Jupiter in the houses and aspecting the natal planets May 2023 comes with our first lunar eclipse for 2023 in watery Scorpio and a soothing new moon in grounded Taurus! What is a New Moon?
A new moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact same position in the Zodiac (called a conjunction). New moons are related to beginnings, have high energy, and are enthusiastic.
What is a Lunar Eclipse?
A full moon occurs when the transit (moving) Sun and Moon are in the exact opposite positions in the Zodiac (called an opposition). Full moons are related to endings, culminations, and are emotional energy. Lunar eclipses occur when a full moon is within 18 1/2 degrees of the Lunar Nodes (the points in the Moon's orbit where the Moon crosses the ecliptic).
Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio: May 5th 2023 (1:34PM ET/10:34AM PT)
Our first lunar eclipse for 2023 comes to us May 5th in Scorpio, an intense water sign. Scorpio full moons can be full of intense emotional energy, and that's even more the case with a Scorpio lunar eclipse. We feel everything so deeply, and are impacted by everything on another level. We have little patience for superficiality, and we want to get to the heart of matters.
We may focus on issues that are taboo, or that we normally shy away from. We can be willing to face hard realities, and this can stir up lots of emotion, but it can also help us find solutions. We can be willing to transform, and this may be difficult, but we can do the difficult stuff now. This eclipse comes a few days after the natural ruler of Scorpio, Pluto, turns retrograde (appears to move backward) on May 1st in Aquarius. Pluto is freshly in Aquarius, and we're dealing with a whole new Pluto cycle. Pluto retrograde is one of the few positive retrogrades as it gives us a chance to adjust to the massive transformations we've experienced with Pluto. This may be even more true with this round since Pluto is fresh in a new sign and this has come with some massive changes. We may be looking backward with this eclipse, and reflecting on what has come to pass. We can gain more insights and understanding, and this can help inform what we want to work on next. This is the last eclipse in Scorpio for this eclipse set. Eclipses occur in sets of opposing signs, and we've been in a Taurus-Scorpio eclipse set. We're now moving to an Aries-Libra eclipse set, and moving from security and stability and resources to focusing on connections with ourselves and others and being more active. With this being the last Scorpio eclipse, we may see some major wrapping up in some way. Lunar eclipses are times of endings and culminations anyway, but that be extra with this eclipse. We can get things done that we've needed done, release something holding us back, and finally feel ready to move on. This can be a lot of help with all of the new energy that's swirling around. This lunar eclipse is widely opposite transit (moving) Uranus in Taurus and Mercury retrograde in Taurus. Uranus is the planet of the sudden and unexpected, so the opposition to Uranus may show we experience some sudden, unexpected developments with this eclipse. Something may change quite rapidly, and we have to adjust on the fly. Something may happen that impacts a wide swath of people, and we need to be flexible in how to fix it. Being flexible is extra important with the opposition to the Mercury retrograde in Taurus, which is pretty fixed, stuck energy. We're so frustrated thanks to the Mercury retrograde, and we may lash out with the intense emotions of this eclipse, but that's not the right way to handle it. Have healthy outlets for frustrations before this even starts to avoid that. In the world, we may see extra violence (especially that creates a lot of property damage), weather may be extra wonky (of course, the climate is just getting crazier and crazier), and I don't like the energy for the economy (more bad news for banks? Taurus and Scorpio are money rulers sooooo, and I could see the Taurus new moon coupled with Jupiter entering Taurus showing governments and regulators stepping in to "rescue", hmm). The lunar eclipse occurs at 14 degrees 58 minutes Scorpio. Aspects to the lunar eclipse are: Conjunction: 9 degrees 58 minutes - 19 degrees 58 minutes Scorpio Semisextile: 12 degrees 58 minutes - 16 degrees 58 minutes Libra or Sagittarius Sextile: 9 degrees 58 minutes - 19 degrees 58 minutes Virgo or Capricorn Square: 9 degrees 58 minutes - 19 degrees 58 minutes Leo or Aquarius Trine: 9 degrees 58 minutes - 19 degrees 58 minutes Cancer or Pisces Quincunx: 12 degrees 58 minutes - 16 degrees 58 minutes Aries or Gemini Opposition: 9 degrees 58 minutes - 19 degrees 58 minutes Taurus New Moon in Taurus: May 19th 2023 (11:54AM ET/8:54AM PT)
We have a new moon in Taurus coming out of Eclipse Season, and this may feel quite refreshing as a result. This Eclipse Season is so full of intense high energy that some calming, grounding Taurus can be welcome!
Taurus new moons are great for grounding, reconnecting with the moment, and taking our time with decisions and actions. Not too much time though, since there is a lot we're working on coming out of those eclipses! Taurus is the sign of stability and security, and we can focus on pursuing opportunities to improve stability in chaotic areas and stability where we've been uncertain. This can improve our confidence levels, and we can finally feel like we have a grip on things. Jupiter moves into Taurus just a few days before this new moon on May 16th, and Jupiter is the happy planet of opportunities, so there may be some big opportunities around this new moon. They may be opportunities for improved stability and security; somehow impacting money, resources, or property; or that somehow connect to values/worth. This new moon is sextile (beneficial aspect, two signs away) transit Mars in Cancer and Neptune in Pisces. This is extra helpful energy along with Jupiter, so we're feeling pretty good with this new moon. We can have control over our energy and drive thanks to Mars, and make use of imagination, creativity, compassion, and intuition thanks to Neptune. The new moon occurs at 28 degree 25 minutes Taurus. The aspects to the new moon are: Conjunction: 26 degrees 25 minutes - 29 degrees 59 minutes Taurus Sextile: 26 degrees 25 minutes - 29 degrees 59 minutes Cancer or Pisces Square: 26 degrees 25 minutes - 29 degrees 59 minutes Leo or Aquarius Trine: 26 degrees 25 minutes - 29 degrees 59 minutes Virgo or Capricorn Opposition: 26 degrees 25 minutes - 29 degrees 59 minutes minutes Scorpio Suggested Reading: The New & Full Moons page for general interpretations by house and aspect The planet of expansion in astrology is the planet Jupiter, and this planet is open, optimistic, and lucky. This energy is brought to your relationships when it's impacting your relationship areas. How Natal Jupiter Impacts Your Relationships
For some, Jupiter can have a strong influence on your relationships via your natal chart. This can be the case if you have:
- Jupiter in the 5th house (ruling love) or 7th house (ruling relationships) - Sagittarius 5th house or 7th house/Descendant (so Jupiter rules the 5th or 7th house) or 5th or 7th house ruler - Jupiter conjunct (aligned with) natal Venus (planetary ruler of relationships) or the 5th or 7th house ruler - Jupiter conjunct the 1st house cusp/Ascendant (the 1st house cusp/Ascendant is on an axis with the 7th house cusp/Descendant so Jupiter would be directly opposing) When natal Jupiter has a strong influence on your relationships in your natal chart, you can be someone who experiences major Jupiter energy in your relationships. With the 5th house, you can be buoyant in love, gregarious and easy to please, and can love to love. You may fall in love a million times in your life, and usually don't take it too seriously until you're much older. Love can be an adventure for you, and may be seen as the ultimate adventure. You can be bold and daring, and love the chase and thrill, but get bored easily. You need someone who can keep you on your toes and impart some wisdom on you since this gets a lot of respect from you. You may fall in love with Sagittarius-like people, so people who are gregarious, adventurous, and bold, or who are outright Sagittarians. You can also love people who can teach you something, or who you admire for their life experiences and how wordly they seem to be. You may fall for writers, teachers, and speakers. Your heart is likely pretty big and generous, and you want to share this with everyone. If anything, you need to learn to be more discriminating! When natal Jupiter is influencing the 7th house, this can be in all relationships, but especially committed relationships and partnerships. You can find great joy in being with others, and may have difficulty being alone. You seem to always be surrounded by people, and sometimes, a lot of them! But you can take it in stride, and don't get thrown by others too much. Relationships can be seen as an adventure to you, and you may attract adventurous people to you. You can view commitment as something that's a little too serious and holds you back from having the adventures you want, which can make you hard to pin down. Switching this mindset so you view commitment as a fun adventure instead of as the thing holding you back helps open you up to commitment, but this is usually once you're older and have more life experience. How Transit Jupiter Impacts Your Relationships
Transit (moving) Jupiter can also bring strong Jupiter energy to your relationships, but this is temporary (whereas with natal Jupiter, it's your entire life). With transit Jupiter, it's only going to be for the period of time the transit is in effect, which is about 1 years for Jupiter in a natal house and 1-2 weeks for Jupiter aspects.
Transit Jupiter can influence your relationships when it's: - in your natal 5th or 7th house - aspecting your natal 5th or 7th house cusp/Descendant, natal 5th or 7th house ruler, or natal Venus Transit Jupiter touring your natal 5th house can be great for love and affection since this is the house of romance. If single, you can date a lot of people and love playing the game, but can also be more likely to fall in love (maybe more than once!). If in a relationship, you can make more time to rekindle the flame and make it fun again. Since Jupiter expands, existing issues with love and love relationships may grow worse, but Jupiter is the happy planet who doesn't want to punish, so this can be easily remedied with a little effort. If you work on love issues, you can feel your heart grow and be more open to love. Transit Jupiter touring your natal 7th house can bring happy energy into your relationships and partnerships, and you can enjoy getting more time with others (especially one-on-one), and can be more willing to commit (romantically, personally, and professionally). You may benefit from the connections you make, and can support those you care about when they're presented with big new opportunities. When it comes to Jupiter aspects, they don't last too long, usually just 1-2 weeks. Since Jupiter is the happy planet, all Jupiter aspects can be beneficial, including the normally challenging ones. The only issue with challenging Jupiter is laziness, so there may be times when it creates issues and you lack the motivation to do anything about it, so it worsens. If you can avoid that, you can even use the hard aspects to improve connections and love. Will Jupiter in Taurus Impact My Relationships?
Jupiter is moving into Taurus in mid-May 2023, so a whole new set of people can get affected by this transit when it comes to your relationships. This can include you if you have:
- natal 5th or 7th house/Descendant in Taurus (Jupiter will transit) - natal 5th or 7th house ruler or natal Venus in Taurus (Jupiter will conjunct) - natal 5th or 7th house cusp/Descendant, natal 5th or 7th house ruler or natal Venus in Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius (Jupiter will square or oppose) Jupiter touring your 5th or 7th house are excellent for meeting new people and improving existing relationships, and you can be a lot more open with the people in your life. You can feel good with company, and try to stabilize them. Conjunctions by Jupiter are considered beneficial instead of challenging, and super beneficial, so Jupiter conjunct your natal 5th house ruler, 7th house ruler, or Venus can bring great opportunities for meeting someone new and exciting, entering into new commitments and partnerships, and doing something with others. Squares and oppositions are challenging aspect, but with Jupiter, even the challenging aspects aren't too challenging, and with some effort, you can turn the energy in your favor. Others may get on your nerves and some relationship issues may grow worse, but if you get to the heart of the matter, you can make this better quickly. If any of these positions are instead in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, or Pisces, Jupiter in Taurus will make beneficial aspects, and this makes it easier to meet new people, connect with others, and feel good in your dealings with others. When impacting your home and family life, this energy is brought to matters of the home and family. How Natal Jupiter Impacts Your Home & Family Life
For some, Jupiter can have a strong influence on your home and family life via your natal chart. This can be the case if you have:
- Jupiter in the 4th house (ruling the home and family; note that family can mean actual relations as well as those you think of as family) - Sagittarius 4th house/Imum Coeli (so Jupiter rules the 4th house) or 4th house ruler - Jupiter conjunct (aligned with) the natal Moon (planetary ruler of the home & family) or the 4h house ruler - Jupiter conjunct the 10th house cusp/Midheaven (the 10th house cusp/Midheaven is on an axis with the 4th house cusp/Imum Coeli so Jupiter would be directly opposing) When natal Jupiter has a strong influence on your home and family life in your natal chart, this brings some luck to your home and family life. You may come from a big, happy family, or grew up in a big house with lots of room. There is an element of "space" required for you at home and with family, so while you may have a great family and a great home, you do need to have some time to yourself away from them in order to feel sane. Without that, you can get restless and antsy. Strong connections with family can be important to you, and it's likely there was at least one elder in your family that you have that with and you really look up to (often a grandparent or father figure). You can also scoop up people throughout your life and welcome them into your family, and have a real warmth and gregariousness with those you think of as family. When you have a solid home and family life, you can thrive in many ways that go far beyond just home and family matters. You can thrive at school, at work, with your goals, and in all relationships when you have a solid home and family life. If you have a chaotic home and family life, this may seem to stall you in anything and everything, which can become quite frustrating and confusing. Fix things at home and with family, and everything else can fall into place. Since Jupiter does expand, it can expand on not just the good, but also the bad, so it may seem at times that when things go wrong at home or with family, they go really wrong really fast. It escalates quickly, and you may not have the motivation to take action fast enough. It's important that when things do go wrong, you take action quickly to stop the escalation. Since Jupiter is the lucky, happy planet, once you start taking action, you can turn things around pretty quickly. How Transit Jupiter Impacts Your Home & Family Life
Transit (moving) Jupiter can also bring strong Jupiter energy to your home and family life, but this is temporary (whereas with natal Jupiter, it's your entire life). With transit Jupiter, it's only going to be for the period of time the transit is in effect, and Jupiter spends about 1 year in 1 natal house, and Jupiter aspects usually last 1-2 weeks.
Transit Jupiter can influence your home and family life when it's: - in your natal 4th house - aspecting your natal 4th house cusp/Imum Coeli, natal 4th house ruler, or natal Moon Transit Jupiter touring your natal 4th house can be similar to natal Jupiter in the 4th house, and you get about 1 year of amazing energy for home and family matters. You can enjoy spending more time at home, planning a move that excites you, redecorating or renovating, or improving your living situations or arrangements in some way. Changes you make are likely ones that give you more space so you feel you have plenty of room at home. You can also enjoy spending more time with those you think of as family, and you may get more time with them. You may plan more family gatherings, or you may plan for a really large gathering that most come to. You can also see your family expand, and this can occur through someone having a child or getting married or moving in with someone (or you do those things). In general, you want more comfort and familiarity in your life, and to feel emotionally supported. You can be more nurturing of others in return, especially when you're in places that feel like home and with people that feel like family. When it comes to transit Jupiter aspects, there really aren't any "bad" aspects when it comes to Jupiter. Jupiter wants everything to go well, and isn't a planet that seeks to punish us at all. The only downside is we can either become lazy and miss out on opportunities to improve home and family matters, or we may see existing issues expand and grow worse (but this is usually because we're being lazy with it). As long as we're not lazy and we take action, essentially all transit Jupiter aspects have the opportunity to be quite beneficial. Will Jupiter in Taurus Impact My Home & Family Life?
Jupiter is moving to Taurus in May 2023, so a whole new set of people can get affected by this transit when it comes to your home and family life. This can include you if you have:
- natal 4th house/Imum Coeli in Taurus (Jupiter will transit) - natal 4th house ruler or natal Moon in Taurus (Jupiter will conjunct) - natal 4th house cusp/Imum Coeli or natal 4th house ruler or natal Moon in Leo, Scorpio, or Aquarius (Jupiter will square or oppose) These are the challenging positions for Jupiter in Taurus, and with Jupiter, the hard aspects usually mean laziness. If you can get this under control, and force yourself to take action and find motivation, then hard Jupiter can actually be quite beneficial. Transit Jupiter touring your 4th house or conjunct your natal 4th house ruler or Moon isn't considered challenging though; in fact, this can be extremely beneficial for home and family matters, and you can really enjoy time at home or with family, and see great developments occur. If any of these positions are instead in Cancer, Virgo, Capricorn, or Pisces, Jupiter in Taurus will make beneficial aspects, and you can pursue opportunities for improvements with your living situation, with dealings with family, and can connect more with where you're living in an easy way.
