​We all want better timing in life, but some people seem to be blessed with it more than others. What shows astrologically that you’re one of those people who have great timing?

North Node conjunct the Ascendant and Sun

If you're born with North Node conjunct your 1st house cusp or Ascendant, you can have great timing throughout your life.

The North Node is part of the lunar nodes, which are the points where the orbit of the Moon crosses the ecliptic. There's a North Node and a South Node. The North Node pulls you forward while the South Node pulls you back, hence the North Node giving you good timing.

The 1st house rules you, so the North Node on the 1st house blesses with good timing. You naturally lean into this as the 1st house and Ascendant are a core part of who you are, and you can feel comfortable utilizing your naturally good timing.

Normally, people steer clear of their North Node for a while because it’s unfamiliar energy you have to grow into and learn. But with your 1st house cusp or Ascendant conjunct the North Node, you’re not so uncomfortable with it and this gives you an advantage over everyone else.

The Sun also rules you (technically the 1st house and Ascendant is your outer self while the Sun is your inner self), so you can see this manifest somewhat with your Sun conjunct the North Node as well. 

Like with the 1st house cusp and Ascendant, you can be more comfortable with your North Node energy, and more willing to manifest it, even if just subconsciously. You may not fully realize what great timing you have, though everyone else probably will!

North Node brings good timing with other planets too -

Pretty much anything conjunct your North Node gets blessed with good timing and energy. It may not always work out with other factors to consider, but the North Node really tries to help you. 

Mars is the natural ruler of the 1st house, so Mars on the North Node can bring great general timing like the 1st house cusp/Ascendant/Sun, and also instill great gut instincts in you once you learn to run with them.

Intuition is also ruled by the Moon (emotional intuition) and Neptune (more spiritual type of intuition), so the Moon or Neptune on your North Node can give you great intuition. Learning to trust this is important for you though.

Venus is the ruler of relationships, so Venus on the North Node can bring great timing in your connections with others. The right people may come into your life at just the right time when you need it, but you do have to learn to welcome them in.

Mercury is the ruler of the mind and communications, so Mercury on the North Node can bring great timing for knowledge and news. You can get information you need when you need it, and can have just the right knowledge in the right situations. For you, you have to learn to have confidence in your mind.

Ceres is the ruler of nourishment and support, so Ceres on the North Node can bring great timing for getting and giving support and using resources. Money may come into your life at just the right times, and you can get the support you need when you need it. You just have to learn to accept it.

Jupiter on your North Node can bring lucky accidents since Jupiter is the planet of luck, and you can find just the right opportunities when you need them. Uranus on your North Node can bring unexpected developments that seem to come out of nowhere but are exactly right, and can seem pretty lucky.

Pluto on your North Node can bring great timing for taking control. You may step in at just the right time and assert your power in just the right ways. Chiron on your North Node can bring great timing for healing. You may have insights into the past and gain more understanding at just the right times and in just the right ways.

Saturn on your North Node is a little trickier since Saturn restricts, but you may find you develop good timing as you age. There are often lessons to learn first before you do though.

P.S. Don't be disheartened if you have no planets conjunct your North Node - you can also experience this great timing energy when the transit (moving) North Node is conjunct any of your natal bodies!

And for bad timing?

Bad timing? It's the reverse, and it's conjunctions with the South Node. The South Node is the past karma and baggage, so you have to work on dealing with that karma and baggage to alleviate the "bad luck" the South Node can bring.
