A new year is coming! So what’s the astrology for New Year’s Eve? The Moon will be in Aquarius December 31st and January 1st and not be void-of-course - woo! So we’re free and clear without the interruptions - except for Mercury retrograde, of course, so try not to focus on too big of plans with him in Capricorn. With the Moon in Aquarius, we’ll all be gathering together more, and thinking a lot about our dreams, and may be a little idealistic going into 2017. The Moon makes all positive aspects December 31st and January 1st, helping keep the energy positive, and Mars conjuncts (aligns with) Neptune at 1:53AM ET, increasing our imaginations, making us more compassionate and sensitive, and feeling a little soulful. If Mercury retrograde can stop itself from mucking things up, this can be a great New Year’s Eve! What about for each sign? Read on: Aries Think about trying something outside of your comfort zone. Try doing something different than you’d normally do to ring in the new year. Or surround yourself with friends and enjoy the party! Cancer You may be a little down going into the new year, so try to do something to pick up your mood a little bit, and don’t let yourself get stuck in a bad mood. You may prefer staying away from too many people. Leo Try not to spend this New Year’s Eve alone. You may find you prefer being around people, though you don’t need a big crowd. A few people you care about and enjoy spending time with will do. Virgo You may be tempted to spend New Year’s Eve getting last-minute work and tasks done, so try to put that aside and mark the new year. You can be most helpful with the host of a party, if you attend one. Libra This can be a great New Year’s Eve for a party, so try not to be alone and get out.
