This is a good Moon to finish projects at home that have been taking some time or you've started but put off finishing. Dust off the hammer and get some of those projects finished! Resolve any issues with the family at this time, and get things off your chest with them. If you need to cut ties, you can cut them now, but you can work to improve them first. January 23rd 2012 New Moon in Aquarius A new moon occurs on January 23rd at 2:39AM ET at 2 degrees 41 minutes of Aquarius. This is the perfect time to do something on a whim that's totally different from what you'd normally do. Aquarius loves making a big change to flip things upside-down. This is a good Moon to get involved in causes, so do something for charity. You can also join a group during this Moon, as Aquarius rules group activities. This Moon squares a retrograding Jupiter, so we may not be feeling as optimistic as normal (or, we may be feeling *too* optimistic). This Moon also sextiles Uranus, the ruler of Aquarius, so it's a Moon at home with itself, and it's a great time to really play up what it rules. Those with an Aquarius Sun or Moon between 0 and 4 degrees or a late Capricorn/early Aquarius rising will likely feel the effects of this Moon most.
