Chiron represents our wounds and emotional baggage, so aspects by transit Chiron to your natal planet can stimulate your healing ability, make you more aware of your wounds, re-open wounds, or bring more attention to what you need to heal from. Aspects by transit Chiron can last for one year. Transit Chiron AspectsTransit Chiron to Natal Sun Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Sun can be helpful for healing and growth with your emotional baggage and wounds. You can find it easier to manage, and you can focus on how to heal yourself. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Sun can make it more difficult, and you may be forced to face your issues in an uneasy way. A conjunction can show tremendous potential for growth and healing, but it can be difficult if you fight it. You may be open to more wounding if you don’t guard yourself, and can feel more rundown with the conjunction, square, or opposition. Transit Chiron to Natal Moon Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Moon can be helpful for focusing on the baggage and emotional wounds in a way that is easier to deal with and where you don’t feel so overwhelmed. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Moon can open up old wounds and stir up emotional baggage that you have to deal with, but are uncomfortable with. A conjunction can show a period of healing and moving on from wounds and baggage, but it can be emotionally draining. Watch for extra exhaustion with the conjunction, square, or opposition. Transit Chiron to Natal Mercury Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Mercury can be helpful for taking an intellectual approach to your baggage and wounds, and you can talk them over or think about them in a logical way. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Mercury can make it difficult for you to communicate your baggage and wounds, or for you to understand them intellectually. A conjunction can show a period where you can use your mind to help you heal through greater understanding; self-help books and talk therapy can be helpful. You may feel a stronger need than usual to find a way to verbalize your baggage and wounds. Transit Chiron to Natal Venus Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Venus can be helpful for feeling more at ease with your baggage and wounds, and you can get help from other people or through your relationships. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Venus can make you lazier or more stubborn with your wounds and baggage, or you can take them out in your relationships or see your relationships suffer because of them. A conjunction can show a period where you can heal through and benefit from connections to others, and can take a calmer approach to your issues. Transit Chiron to Natal Mars Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Mars can be helpful for driving you to work on healing from your wounds and letting go of baggage, and you can feel more energized to do so. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Mars can make your wounds and baggage more difficult to deal with, causing irritability, erratic behavior, and greater frustrations and confrontations. A conjunction can show a period where you can be extremely driven to focus on your wounds and baggage, and the more you do, the more energy you can have (whereas if you don’t, you can be drained energetically). Transit Chiron to Natal Jupiter Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Jupiter can be helpful for taking a more positive approach to your wounds and letting go of baggage, and you can find it easier to do so, not so bogged down by them and willing to move on, finding the positive opportunities that can come from doing so. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Jupiter can still be positive, but you may need to work on not being lazy about it, otherwise you can just let things slide. A conjunction can show a period where you can heal through having a more optimistic outlook, and can create new possibilities when you let go. Transit Chiron to Natal Saturn Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Saturn can be helpful for being responsible and practical with your wounds and baggage. You can approach them with a practical outlook so you understand exactly what you can and can’t deal with right now, and you can go about healing in the right way. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Saturn can make things much more difficult, and you can feel the weight of your baggage crushing you if you don’t face your issues and work on healing, but you have to do so in a healthy, productive way. A conjunction can show a period where you absolutely have to work on healing, otherwise you can experience issues as a result of them and feel more restricted by them. It can take more work to deal with your wounds, but you can walk away feeling wiser and stronger. Transit Chiron to Natal Uranus Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Uranus can be helpful for taking an unconventional approach to healing, or looking at your wounds in an emotionally detached way that allows you to have greater perspective. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Uranus can make it so you act impulsively when your wounds are triggered, or you become anxious to deal with your baggage, so you have to make sure you’re not reckless but are allowing yourself to move forward with your healing. A conjunction can show a period where you can suddenly become invested in healing your wounds, and you can gain incredible insights into yourself, but you do need to make sure you don’t do anything too impulsive. Transit Chiron to Natal Neptune Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Neptune can be helpful for taking a spiritual approach to your healing, and you can intuitively understand what it is that you need to heal and grow. Tending to your soul needs to help you tend to your wounds. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Neptune can make it difficult for you to figure out what it is that you need to work on, and you may need to work on being more realistic about how your baggage and wounds impact you. You can also be far more vulnerable and need to guard yourself. A conjunction can show a period where you can use your spiritual side to help yourself heal, and you can become far more intuitive and in touch with a part of yourself that you’re not consciously aware of. You can also be more vulnerable under a conjunction, so you also need to guard yourself. Transit Chiron to Natal Pluto Transit Chiron sextile or trine natal Pluto can be helpful for taking control over your healing, and you can focus on ways you can transform yourself and your life that help you to heal and grow. Transit Chiron square or in opposition to natal Pluto can make it so not facing your wounds leads to destructive behaviors and tendencies, and you can struggle to maintain control. Outlets are important for your emotions, and you need to work on making transformations that will be of benefit. A conjunction can show a period where you can make major transformations, and you can see yourself as the phoenix rising from the ashes. You can derive great strength from your ability to heal and the more you do, the stronger you feel. Suggested Reading: Want to explore Chiron more? Check out the Soul Astrology Masterclass! A new moon occurs in Leo on August 2nd at 4:45PM ET. A Leo new moon is a time to have some fun! Leo is the sign of our hobbies, romance and dating, our inner child (and actual children). Leo is a positive fire sign and just wants us to let loose and enjoy ourselves. It was a difficult first half of 2016 and more is to come soon, so enjoy the nice energy while we have it. Make time for your hobbies, take time away from the stuffy and boring, and focus on the carefree and sweet. Treat yourself well and treat others with warmth. If single, be sociable and play the field; if in a relationship, make it feel like it did when you first met. Have weekend getaways or fun vacations or throw parties. Laugh like you mean it.
Leo is creative and and rules the spotlight, drama, the theater, and entertainment industry, so we can focus more on celebrity and celebrity culture but in a fun way, embrace our creativity, and enjoy being theatrical. Sing in the rain, dance with wolves (well, not wolves, maybe your dog). This new moon is trine (positive aspect, four signs away) transit (moving) Saturn in Sagittarius, so while we’re off having fun, we can be responsible about it and not get carried away. There’s still work to be done, after all, and Saturn keeps us from being irresponsible with that. This combo can be great for using creativity in our work and being productive with our creative energy, so try to find ways to infuse your creative energy into the mundane. This new moon occurs at 10 degrees 57 minutes Leo, so the aspects to this new moon are: Conjunction: 8 degrees 57 minutes - 12 degrees 57 minutes Leo Sextile: 8 degrees 57 minutes - 12 degrees 57 minutes Gemini or Libra Square: 8 degrees 57 minutes - 12 degrees 57 minutes Taurus or Scorpio Trine: 8 degrees 57 minutes - 12 degrees 57 minutes Aries or Sagittarius Opposition: 8 degrees 57 minutes - 12 degrees 57 minutes Aquarius A full moon occurs in Aquarius on August 18th at 5:27AM ET. Aquarius wants us to look at things from a wider perspective than Leo, and while full moon’s tend to be more emotional, we can be more detached with this full moon, striving to think things through better and look at all of the information we have. We can consider the way our decisions and actions impact not only the people around us, but the world. This can make us more charitable and willing to take up a good cause so we can contribute to the world in some way. We can come together as a group, and we can see how we all fit together but still allow each other to be ourselves. If we feel like someone is trying to fit us in a box, we can rebell in a big way, craving independence and freedom. We may see more people behaving this way, protesting and pushing against social norms or authority figures. It can be a good full moon to go against the grain and challenge traditional thoughts, beliefs, and ways of living. This full moon is sextile (positive aspect, two signs away) transit Uranus in Aries, and Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius, so we can feel quite at ease with this energy, and find it easier to step outside of comfort zones, be independent, and create change. There may be some sort of change that comes with this full moon. The full moon is also quincunx (hard aspect, five signs away) transit Jupiter in Virgo, and since quincunxes are erratic energy, there can be some adjustments that need to be made relating to expansion, practicality, higher education, travel, work/jobs, health, beliefs/religion, or daily life. This full moon occurs at 25 degrees 41 minutes Aquarius. The aspects to this full moon are: Conjunction: 23 degrees 41 minutes - 27 degrees 41 minutes Aquarius Sextile: 23 degrees 41 minutes - 27 degrees 41 minutes Aries or Sagittarius Square: 23 degrees 41 minutes - 27 degrees 41 minutes Taurus or Scorpio Trine: 23 degrees 41 minutes - 27 degrees 41 minutes Gemini or Libra Opposition: 23 degrees 41 minutes - 27 degrees 41 minutes Leo General horoscopes are always meant for entertainment purposes only. For a more accurate view, read your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign.
Aries: There’s a lot of emphasis on your work life in August with Venus and the Sun entering your work sector, and you can focus on getting the little things done, being more on top of the smaller projects, and being more productive. You want to take advantage of the work energy during the first half of the month because the Mercury retrograde at the end of the month may throw things off, and you’ll need to have extra patience with yourself, the people you work with and for, and try to avoid major work decisions, if you can. General horoscopes are always meant for entertainment purposes only. For a more accurate view, read your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign.
Aries August 2016 Monthly Horoscope On August 2nd, your ruler, Mars, enters fellow fire sign Sagittarius, and you can focus on ways you can expand your life, have new experiences, and explore the world. You may desire more freedom and independence in your life to do whatever you want without someone holding you back. It can be a great time to travel, or to go to school and learn something new. You can be open to the other ways in which people live, fascinated by other cultures, and attracted to foreign lifestyles. Your overall mood can be more positive, uplifted, after a trying few months of very serious energy. You can also feel more connected to your beliefs, and if you don’t, you can focus on why that is and what changes you need to make to have that. General horoscopes are always meant for entertainment purposes only. For a more accurate view, read your Sun sign, Moon sign, and Rising sign.
Aries: The new moon on the 2nd can be excellent for romance and having fun with love. If single, you can use the energy to put yourself out there and meet new people, but you may feel like playing the field and not taking anything too seriously right now. If in a relationship, you can use the energy to make your relationship more exciting again, like it was when you first got together, and you can be more affectionate. Venus entering your relationship sector to end the month can also help you get along better. I haven’t done a fun character analysis in a while so I figured it was time, and there’s a new jason Bourne movie coming out, so I figured he was a good one to attempt. He is the world’s favorite amnesiac badass after, all! (the only one?) I gravitate toward a Sagittarius Sun and Mercury, with the two conjunct (aligned with one another). Why? He’s a world traveller (granted not necessarily for fun), he knows who-knows-how-many languages, and he seems to be quite intelligent with a breadth of knowledge. While Gemini is the sign of the mind, Sagittarius can focus the intellectual energy. And Mercury conjunct the Sun brings a little of the Gemini energy into the mix since Mercury rules Gemini. I’m inclined to put his Sun and Mercury in the 4th house because he obviously was someone who was dedicated to his country, which is ruled by the 4th house. I mean, you’ve gotta be pretty darn tootin’ dedicated to sign up for what he signed up for! That would make him a Virgo Rising, which does make some sense - he tries to blend in the background, not be seen, not very loud, sort of an unassuming demeanor. Virgo is also one of the signs of service. There is definitely an intensity to Jason Bourne, so I like a Scorpio Venus for him, which would help make him extremely loyal, attracted to the dark side, and seeming like a loner-type. It would be in his 3rd house, adding to his intellect. Given his strength and stamina, I like Mars in Aries, the sign Mars naturally rules (giving an ease to his physical abilities) and in the 8th house. The Aries/8th house combo is also one that makes a lot of sense for someone in the military since both rule war. For his Moon, I actually feel like it should be in Cancer, but early in the sign so it falls in the 10th house instead of the 11th house. There is a sensitive side to him, a side that cares about people and has a conscience (the whole thing starts off with him not being able to kill the guy with the kids there, after all - though who could kill the smoking hot Idris Elba?). So I gravitate toward a water sign there, but putting it in the 10th house makes his career the most important thing in his life, and brings a slight detachment with his emotions where he doesn’t show them as much, instead trying to be dutiful and responsible and do the right thing. For losing his memory, I would anticipate transit Neptune being involved, since Neptune makes everything so very foggy and gets you lost in a haze. Likely a hard aspect - conjunction, square, opposition - to Mercury, ruler of the mind, and/or the Moon, ruler of memory. A hard aspect to the 6th house cusp or ruler, the house of health, would also make sense since it’s the result of physical injury. Neptune square the 6th and 12th house cusps would make the most sense of all, having Neptune impacting health but also with the 12th house involved, this house is naturally ruled by Neptune and can also show the isolation that comes afterward. In terms of being on the run, I would anticipate 9th house and 12th house aspects and transits since the 9th house rules far travel and the law and the 12th house rules isolation and being on your own; I especially like transit Uranus in the 9th house while transit Saturn is in the 12th house (Uranus in the 9th house show the bouncing around and the sudden, unexpected nature of it, and Saturn in the 12th house would show the removal from normal society). |
