Asteroid Abundantia, the asteroid of abundance, is exiting earth sign Capricorn and entering air sign Aquarius soon. This transit of Ceres in Aquarius will last about two-and-a-half months, and it's a welcome change after Abundantia spent so long in restrictive Capricorn.

Asteroid Abundantia moving into Aquarius can be a breath of fresh air. Abundantia was in Capricorn for an extended period thanks to retrograding, or appearing to move backward, in Capricorn, and it's been extra restrictive as a result. Abundant energy might've been lacking for many of us this year, and we're ready for a change.
Enter Aquarius, the sign of change, and Abundantia in Aquarius means change is coming, and abundantly. In fact, on the same day Abundantia enters Aquarius, so does Venus and Ceres, and all three hook up with Pluto, who is now in Aquarius. This is HUGE energy, and it's right away. We've likely been itching for this change, and we are so ready for it. We can pounce on it fast, and don't need to wait long. This is incredibly different from how energy has been, all stale and stagnant. Capricorn is traditional while Aquarius is the sudden, the unexpected, and the unconventional. This is time for a huge change, something really unexpected that comes out of left field, and we're all left feeling a sense of relief, like FINALLY! We've been waiting for so long! We're turning the page, moving into the next chapter, and ready for the future. Pluto has been priming us for this as it's been flirting with Aquarius, and is now fully in this sign once Abundantia, Ceres, and Venus enter and conjunct Pluto, and Abundantia actually conjuncts Pluto the very first day it enters Aquarius. We may see something big come to an end just beforehand as well, and this helps us usher in this new energy. Abundantia, Ceres, and Venus are also triggered the Great Mutation, which occured in December 2020 in Aquarius. This is when transit Jupiter and Saturn conjunct, which occurs roughly every twenty years, and when it changes elements, this is the Great Mutation, which occurs roughly every two hundred years. We may not have felt the start of this right away thanks to strong Capricorn energy still in play, but Pluto moving into Aquarius jumpstarts it, and with Abundantia, Ceres, and Venus coming to play, it ushers in this whole new era for the world. You may want to find in your natal chart where 0-1 degrees Aquarius falls in your natal houses, since whatever that house rules likely gets this huge boost. And if you have any planets or bodies at 0-1 degrees Aquarius, that planet gets a HUGE boost, and super focus, and you'll likely be doing something with whatever it rules. With Abundantia in Aquarius, abundance can come quickly, suddenly, out of nowhere, unexpectedly, and in unconventional ways. We may have an abundance of independence, innovation, and invention with Aquarius. We can also be abundantly social, and expand our social circles. Abundantia will oppose Mars retrograde in Leo on December 19th 2024 at 4 degrees, and Mars retrograde is challenging energy, and Abundantia might explode it. There could be some extra aggression, frustration, and it might feel like something is out of our control. We need to be flexible and not go too far with our reactions.
On January 31st 2025, Abundantia is square, which is a challenging aspect, Uranus in Taurus at 23 degrees, and Uranus retrograde ends on January 30th 2025 square Abundantia. Uranus is the natural ruler of Aquarius, so we might have some difficulty with some sort of change, with something unexpected or unpredictable, and we might be restless, impatient, and impulsive. It's tempting to act fast and jump to fix it, but we might not be all that smart about it at this point, so we need to make sure we're doing our homework.
