September 5th 2013 New Moon in Virgo
A new moon occurs at 7:36AM ET at 13 degrees 14 minutes of Virgo. In Virgo, we have an easier time going about our daily tasks, want to stick to routines, and require structure and order. This is an excellent new moon to get organized under. Go through your homes and offices and cars and clear them out. The less clutter there is, the better. We can dedicate ourselves to our work, and we won't stop until we finish what we've started. We take out our to-do lists and go through each task one at a time until they're all crossed out. We're productive and efficient, and we won't stand for anything less than our best work. This new moon is sextile (easy aspect) transit (moving) Jupiter in Cancer, making this a happier new moon. We're optimistic, we're a little friendlier, and we want to smile. If you're a Virgo Sun, Moon, or mid-Virgo rising, you may feels the effects of this moon most.
September 19th 2013 Full Moon in Pisces
A full moon occurs at 7:13AM ET at 26 degrees 40 minutes of Pisces. In Pisces, we tap into our subconscious minds and see what's there. We need to do so if we want to find the cause of this overly emotional state we're all in. We're much more sensitive, and when something impacts us, it hurts deeply. We need to be gentle with one another, and remember that words hurt. Be sensitive to others, be compassionate and understanding, and be empathic. We can feel what others are feeling if we try. If we clear the noise in our heads, we can tap into the universe as well. There's so much in the ether that can help us if we shut out the distractions and actually pay attention. Look at the signs in your own life. You may be surprised by how many you see. If you're a Pisces Sun, Moon, or late Pisces rising, you may feel the effects of this moon most.
