November 6th 2014 Full Moon in Taurus
A full moon occurs at 5:23PM ET at 14 degrees 25 minutes of Taurus. In Taurus, we’re slower to show how we feel, and to get things started. We prefer to be practical, take our time, and not let things get messy. When we do show our emotions, we blow up with extreme anger. We try to channel our feeling into our senses, and we experience life through our bodies. What we see, hear, taste, smell, and touch has a greater impact on us, and we remember it for a lifetime. We’re sensual, passionate, and want to connect physically with one another and with the Earth. We just have to be careful we don’t overindulge in anything, especially food, drinking, and spending. We can get ourselves into situations that are difficult to maneuver out of, so remember one word: moderation. If you're a Taurus Sun, Moon, or mid-Taurus rising, you may feels the effects of this moon most.
November 22nd 2014 New Moon in Sagittarius
A new moon occurs at 7:32AM ET at 0 degrees 7 minutes of Sagittarius. In Sagittarius, we feel adventurous and daring. We don’t want to sit on the sidelines and watch life pass us by. There’s so much we have yet to experience, and we won’t be satisfied until we’ve gone outside of our comfort zone and lived a little. We want to run free, to travel and see the world, to submerge ourselves in other cultures, and to study other modes of thinking. Expand your world, your mind, your heart, your soul. Go where you normally wouldn’t dare. We’re optimistic about life, and we feel that things are going to turn out okay if we take a leap of faith. We’re friendly and sociable, and don’t take much seriously. We come up with big ideas but don’t do much about them. We’re too busy enjoying the moment. If you're a Sagittarius Sun, Moon, or rising, you may feel the effects of this moon most.
