How's that for a funky name? There's no mythology associated with this asteroid, obviously, which was discovered in - duh - 1992! And still has no name, the poor thing. In this article by Eric Francis, he postulates that since this asteroid has no name, it's free of any baggage that comes along with mythology. This asteroid is supposed to show where we can get beyond the craziness in a way that isn't extreme or upsetting, but rather easy, guiding right into it.
1992 QB1 is number 15760 on astro.com. In my chart, this asteroid sits on my Moon in Pisces, with both sitting on my 5th house cusp (the cusp of a house is the very beginning of that house). So I should be making changes emotionally that aren't so wild and tumultuous? Or perhaps I crave on an emotional level change that isn't so upsetting. My hobbies, specifically the arts (5th house) are a way for me to ease myself emotionally and change myself and my life (THAT one fits!).
In transit, 1992 QB1 can show where you'll be making subtle but important changes. This asteroid moves veeeery slow, even slower than Pluto, so when it's on something in your chart, it's activating it for a while. Currently, 1992 QB1 is at the very beginning of Taurus, having just entered this sign earlier in the year. To find where 1992 QB1 currently is located you can use astro.com (go to extended chart selection, then click on ephemeris, and type 15760 in the additional asteroids and other objects section). So what is this nameless asteroid doing in your chart?
